John W. Roetzer

John W. Roetzer, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024, at the age of 92. Loving husband of the late Bonnie J. Roetzer; beloved son of the late John and Margaret Roetzer; devoted father of Melodee (Steve) Konrad and Jill Schmitz; loving grandfather of Ben (Danielle) Konrad, Nick Konrad, Emily Konrad, Marshall Schmitz and Paxton Schmitz; loving great-grandfather of Hayden Konrad and Theo Konrad; dear brother of Jerry (Mary) Roetzer. John is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Roetzer and Ray Roetzer; and his son-in-law, Matt Schmitz.

John proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean war. He loved playing tennis and was an active member of a tennis club. He also dedicated his time to volunteering at the Circle of Concern Food Pantry. Professionally, John worked in sales and marketing for Southwestern Bell (AT&T). He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
