John Douglas O'Bryan

John Douglas “Johnny” O'Bryan, of Wright City, MO, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Sandra O'Bryan; cherished son of the late Ruby Bruzaitis and the late Wilbert O'Bryan; devoted father of Mike (Amy) Rush, Tammy O'Bryan, Amy (Greg) Lenhard, Patrick (Sarah) O'Bryan, and David (Allison) O'Bryan; loving grandfather of Ashley Lenhard, Tommy (Rachael) Rush, Stephanie (Patrick) Renner, Matthew Rush, Kyle Lenhard, Lexi O'Bryan, Brayden O'Bryan, Eli Dunn, Aoife O'Bryan, Keegan O'Bryan, Tilly O'Bryan, and the late Conner Lenhard; treasured great grandfather of Chloe Whatley, Patriot Adams, and Connor Rush; dear brother of Robert (The Late Judy) O'Bryan, Brenda (The Late Thomas) Ashing, the late Sandy (Bob) Gerdes, and the late Bruce O'Bryan.

Johnny was the beloved adopted dad to countless neighborhood kids over the years, always opening his heart and home to those around him. He had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in nature. Above all, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his world—he absolutely adored them. Johnny was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
