St. Louis

John Martin Nolan, of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022, at the age of 68.  Loving husband of the late Catherine Nolan; beloved son of the late James L. and Theresa A. Nolan; devoted father of Bradley Nolan and John M. Nolan, Jr.; cherished grandfather of Jeremiah Nolan; dear brother of Connie Nolan and Jennifer Nolan.

John retired from Knight Hawk Coal after more than 35 years as an accountant. He was a longtime member of St. Monica Catholic Church, and he loved volunteering especially with the baseball teams. He helped to build the baseball field at St. Monica for the kids. He loved anything to do with baseball, and he coached his sons’ baseball teams as well. He also looked forward to watching the St. Louis Cardinals on TV.

John liked to stay active and enjoyed running in the annual St. Patrick’s Day marathon. He loved to travel to places such as Hawaii and enjoyed going to the lake house at Innsbrook. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
