John “Jack” J. Carusa

John “Jack” J. Carusa, of O’Fallon, MO, died on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at the age of 92. Loving husband of the late Frances L. Carusa; beloved son of the late James and Mildred Carusa; devoted father of James (Sandra) Carusa, Mary (James) Martin, and Barbara (Roger) Verhulst; cherished grandfather of Jason Carusa, Jack Carusa, Anthony (Erin) Carusa, Alyssa Garavaglia, Elisabeth Martin, Daniel Martin, Madison Verhulst, Mitchell Verhulst and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony W. Carusa, grandson, Nicholas G. Carusa, and brother, Richard Carusa.
Jack was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #2269, and St. Vincent DePaul Society. He retired in 1989 from Kiefer Bonfanti & Company where he worked as an accountant. Jack was to receive the “Man of the Year” award in May at the St. Barnabas Memorial Day Mass and Commemoration ceremony. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
