John William Albrecht, lovingly known as Jack to those closest to him, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 4, 2026. He was 87 years old.
Jack was the devoted husband of Pat Albrecht, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Together they built a family that meant everything to him. He was a proud father to Pam Young and Mark Albrecht, a caring father-in-law to Kirk Young, and a deeply cherished grandfather to Shelby, Austin, and Charles. His quiet devotion and steady presence were a constant source of comfort and love to all who knew him.
Jack spent many years working as a repairman for Sears, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability. Before that, he grew up farming, a foundation that stayed with him throughout his life. He always kept a garden, finding peace and satisfaction in tending to the land.
He had a love for simple pleasures, especially listening to country music on the radio, and lived a life grounded in faith, attending church faithfully over the years. Jack was not a man of many words, but his kindness spoke volumes. He was gentle, steady, and deeply caring, always putting his family first.
He is survived by his children and grandchildren, as well as his brother, Richard and sister, Betty. Jack now rests in peace, reunited with his beloved wife Pat.
A viewing will be held on May 23 at Baue Funeral Home in Cave Springs at 12:30 p.m., followed by a service at 2:00 p.m., as family and friends gather to celebrate his life.
Jack will be remembered for his quiet strength, his unwavering love for his family, and the simple, meaningful life he lived.
