John J. Brown

John Jude Brown, of O Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of JoAnne Marie Brown; cherished son of the late John and Angela Brown; devoted father of Kathy (Dan) Morrow, Colleen (Dave) Brown-Crone, the late John Patrick Brown and the late Angela Brown; loving grandfather of George Morrow and Sam Morrow.

John had a deep love for animals from an early age and enjoyed taking care of horses, even working in the stables during school to help pay his tuition. In his twenties, he proudly served in the United States Navy, spending time aboard an aircraft carrier traveling the Mediterranean. Following his service, John worked as an aircraft mechanic at TWA for 38 years. After retiring, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often “piddling” in the yard and tending to the things he loved. A devoted Catholic, he especially cherished attending Latin Mass. John was a loving and dedicated husband who always cared for his wife. His passion for life was evident in all he did, and he was determined to live each day fully and with purpose. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in John's name to Community Living or Emmaus Homes.
