John Ray Houk, of Troy, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Irene Theodora Johanna Gerhardina Houk; cherished son of the late Lyle Houk and the late Frieda Hale; dear brother of Stan Houk, the late Joanne Corder, and the late Jack Houk; devoted father of Janet (Gary) Morrison, John (Pamela) Houk, and Cynthia (Keith) Koerper; loving grandfather of Justin (Hallie) Morrison, Joshua (Victoria) Morrison, Cassandra (Trevor ) Curtis, Andrea (Dan) Traw, and Alexandria (Tyler) Cole; treasured great-grandfather of Hayden, Hunter, Ashton, William, and Eli.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
