John H. Pittman

Memorials may be given to Haiti Missions at First Baptist Church, St. Charles. Beloved husband of the late Mary E. Pittman; loving father of John G. (Sandy), and James P. (Patti) Pittman and Kay (Vic) Reid, and the late Scott P. and Gary Reid; dear brother of Lorraine Wall and Bob Pittman (Wilma); and the late Thelma Beacham, Opal Hazen, Roberta Mae, Herbert, G.W. , and George Pittman; proud grandfather of Darrel, Tracy, Sydney, Malvin, Keith, Michael, Sean, Carrie, Jeff, Joseph & Henry; great-grandfather of several. Preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert Oren and Anna Belle Pittman. Mr. Pittman served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He was a member of First Baptist Church of St. Charles, where he was active in Sunday School. He was also a charter member of the Garden Club in St. Charles. Mr. Pittman was a school counselor in the St. Charles School District and a vocational guidance counselor at Lewis & Clark Technical School for many years before his retirement.
