John Goste

John Goste, of St. Louis, MO, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2026 at the age of 89. He is survived by his son, John M. (Laura) Goste, daughter, Debbie Clifton; Grandchildren, Danny, Brittany (Richard), Amanda, Megan; great granddaughter, Marceline; sisters, Emma, Erna, and Bruna. John was preceded in death by his wife, Madonna Goste, son, Randy Goste, son in-law, Jeff Clifton, and his two sisters, Sylvia and Martha. John was an uncle, cousin and friend,

John was a United States Army Veteran. He was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent his career in the leather business, providing for and supporting his family. John found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time outdoors, tending to his yard and planting trees, shrubs, and flowers. He especially enjoyed playing golf and ping pong, taking walks around Creve Coeur Park, and watching football and golf. John also appreciated a good meal, especially catfish, and never turned down an opportunity to enjoy good food and good company. He will be remembered for his quick wit and making others smile. John was dearly loved and will be missed.
