Yerkey, John E., of Saint James, Missouri, died on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the age of 90. Loving husband of the late Grace E. Yerkey; beloved son of the late John and Lora Yerkey; dear father of Cheryll R. Kwiatkowski; grandfather of James Kwiatkowski and Corinne Kwiatkowski; dear friend of Roy W. Boschert. He is preceded in death by his sister Rose Yerkey.
John proudly served in the United States Army during WWII and liked to share his stories with the ones he met. In his spare time, he liked putting together model cars.
