Memorials may be made to Donor's Choice. John C. Ray, of St. Louis, Missouri, died on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the age of 79 from a stroke. Dearest husband of the late Phyllis Ray; dear son of the late Charles and Elsie Ray; loving father of Judy Durbin, Pam (Larry) Hood, John C. Ray, Jr. and Jay C. Ray; beloved grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 20; dear brother of Norma Hunt; a dear uncle, cousin and friend. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Mildred Clark and Luella Frazier and his great-granddaughter, Rebecca A. Hercules. John was a Tool & Die Maker with the Machinists Union Local 41 for 60 years before his retirement.
