Joe Lee Maninger

Joe Lee Maninger, of St. Charles, Missouri, fell asleep in Jesus' arms on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the age of 75. Loving husband of Joanne Maninger (nee: Dillon); dear son of the late Paul L. and Gladys Maninger; devoted father of Cindy (Benn) Ruble and Mike (Michelle) Maninger; cherished grandfather of Timothy and Rebecca Maninger and Dillon Ruble; and dearest owner of his black lab Jack. He is preceded in death by his infant brother. Joe worked for Boeing for 4 years in Wichita, Kansas, was a Police Officer for 2 years in Harper, Kansas, and retired from McDonnell Douglas after 33 years in St. Louis, Missouri. His greatest passion in life was his family and his lab Jack. He was a member of the 837 International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, NRA, and enjoyed photography. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SSM Hospice.
