JoAnne Timberlake

JoAnne Timberlake (nee Steuber), of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the age of 85. She is the beloved wife of the late Harvey F. Timberlake, III; dear daughter of the late Joseph and Geraldine Steuber; devoted mother of Rebecca (David) Jordan and the late David Swanson; dear sister of Nancy (Richard) Head and the late Steven Steuber; loving grandmother to Renee Swanson, Tony Fant, Erik (Jeanette) Fant, Karly Fant, and Kelly Fant; and dear great grandmother to Joey, Bradley, Jake, Mia, Mikey, Nayeli, and Matthew.

JoAnne was a kind, caring, and strong woman who meant so much to those around her. She recently celebrated 33 years of sobriety and was a proud, longtime member of AA Group 139, where she found friendship and community. JoAnne always looked forward to her monthly breakfasts with friends on Wednesdays at Cracker Barrel. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she supported in any way she could, never hesitating to lend a hand. Her beloved dog, Penny, was always by her side, a faithful companion for many years. JoAnne’s legacy of love and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in JoAnne’s name to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society.
