JoAnn Frances Thiemet (nee Nicolay), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Thiemet; cherished daughter of the late James and Julia Nicolay; devoted mother of Joseph M. Thiemet, Karen M. Johnson, Kathy (Jon) Howerton, David M. Thiemet, and Christopher M. Thiemet; loving grandmother of Andrew P. (Erika) Johnson, Jamie Lynn Thiemet, Samuel G. Johnson, and Michael D. Thiemet; treasured great grandmother of Emil P. Johnson; dear sister of three sisters and five brothers; sister-in-law, aunt and friend to many. JoAnn was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
