Joann Beverly Logsdon (nee Derry), of St. Peters, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of John Logsdon; cherished daughter of the late Harvey Ansen and Ann Albertina Derry; devoted mother of the late Lisa Lynn Logsdon, John Carl (Audrey Hall) Logsdon and Scott Daniel (Sally) Logsdon; loving grandmother of Shannan Danielle (Farin) Logsdon-Jump, Joshua Leigh (Liz) Logsdon, Jonathan Connor Logsdon, Rylee Michelle Logsdon and Hayden Danielle Logsdon; treasured great-grandmother of Georgia Louise Jump; dear sister of Sharron Derry, Roberta Derry and the late Patricia Ann Kobylansky;
Joann was a very selfless woman who had many careers. She was a Cosmetologist, Real Estate Agent, Bus Driver for Parkway School District, Francis Howell School District and Senior Living Facilities, and a Reservation and Gate Agent at TWA.
Joann was a woman of faith, who loved God and his creations, particularly animals. She enjoyed traveling and taking road trips with her husband, John. Joann loved places where she could see the beauty of the Earth and seeing God’s creations. Joann was known for her painting and crafts, especially her homemade gifts. She enjoyed sharing her words of wisdom with all those who would listen. Writing poetry seemed to bring her peace while here with us. We hope reading her words will bring us peace for generations to come. Joann was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Joann's name to the Humane Society.
