Jo Ann Schnur
June 17, 1937 — September 12, 2017
Jo Ann Schnur (nee Sciortino), age 80, of St. Charles, Missouri, September 12, 2017. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Gladys Sciortino; devoted mother of Gina Boyd and Todd (Diane) Schnur; treasured grandmother of Abigail (David), Caitlin, Amelia, Joseph, and Stella; loving great-grandmother of Trey and Ryaan; and dear sister of Michael Sciortino, Jane Messey, and the late Susan Kinder.
Jo Ann was a History Teacher for over 40 years. She taught in the city of St. Charles School District and went on to be the Vice Principal at Sts. Joachim and Ann School. She was also the President of the Missouri Historical Society and a longtime member of both the Missouri Choral Society and the American Association of University Women. Jo Ann was deeply loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America or the Missouri Choral Society.
