Jim Williams

Williams, Jim, of Chesterfield, MO, died on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at the age of 89. Loving husband of the late Georgia Williams; beloved son of the late Edward Isaac Williams and the late Ruby Violet Williams; devoted father of Liza (Gary) West, Teresa (David) White, Donna Ervin, and Christopher (Rhonda) Williams; cherished grandfather of Becky Flores, Robert Aydelott, Brian (Amanda) Williams, Gary (Karrie) Williams, Greg (Stacy) Williams, Kristi (Joe) Worley, A.J. (Michelle) Blaylock, Brenda Blaylock, and Heather (Jeramy) Hearn; treasured great-grandfather of 29; dear grandfather-in-law of Stephanie Blaylock and brother-in-law of Faye Williams. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Sue Grimes, his grandson, Jonathan Blaylock, son-in-law Jerry Ervin, and his siblings, Juanita (Joe) Tenney, Joseph Williams, Inez (Edward) Langley, and Betty (Norman) Grubbs.

Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army, and served as an Army Medic. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time on the river and being in the outdoors, and will be remembered for his fiercely independent spirit and hardworking nature.
