Jerry David Sims

Sims, Jerry David 66, of O’Fallon, MO went to be with the Lord on December 25, 2010. Born in Columbia, MO in 1944, and moved to St. Charles at the age 2. He is survived by loving wife Sandra (nee: Birks) Sims; three children: Jeffrey (wife Ginny), Brian, and Michelle; sister Marilyn Hartley, a niece, a great-niece, and three dogs Fritz, Elvis, and Priscilla. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents James and Ada Sims, brother James Richard Sims, and sister Virginia Fern Sims. Jerry served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was employed by Wagner Electric (18 years), St. Regis (5), McDonnell Douglas (7), Dimac (6), National Venders (6), and after retirement worked part-time at Shop ‘n’ Save at Dardenne Prairie (3). In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoyed traveling to Kansas City for Chiefs games and visiting various destinations including: Graceland in Memphis, TN; Branson, MO; Tunica, MS; and Presidential Libraries. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Red Cross, Humane Society of St. Charles, St. Jude's, and Myelodysplasia Foundation.
