Jerry Lee Cobb, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, at the age of 67.
Beloved husband of the late Janice Kay Cobb; cherished son of the late Luther and Wilma Cobb. Devoted father of Erick (Heather) Cobb, Leann (Greg) Endsley, and Shawn Cobb; loving grandfather of Madelyn (Austin) Collier, Sarah (Hannah) Chapman, Emily (Chase Bathe) Cobb, Caitlyn Cobb, Colt Endsley, Luke Endsley, Charlie Endsley, Chayton Moon, and Jake Lewis; treasured great-grandfather of Amelia Collier, Vincent and Everleigh Bathe; dear brother of Larry Cobb and Dale Cobb; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by great-granddaughter, Parker Collier; two brothers, Michael Cobb and Terry Cobb.
For four decades, Jerry dedicated himself to UPS as a teamster. Outside of work, he found joy in bringing his family together for festive occasions, ensuring each gathering boasted a lively piñata. Halloween held a special place in his heart, as he delighted in transforming his home into a spooky spectacle. Nature beckoned him, and he relished hiking, camping, and the thrill of hunting turkeys and squirrels. Family outings to The Land provided cherished moments in the great outdoors. Movies were another passion, especially when shared with his beloved grandchildren, particularly favoring the imaginative realms of sci-fi. A skilled artisan, Jerry poured his creativity into various crafts. Yet, above all, his deepest affection was reserved for his children and grandchildren. Jerry was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
