Jerry Byrd, Sr.

Jerry Byrd, Sr., of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Lavonna “Bonnie” Byrd; cherished son of the late J.C. and Edith Byrd; devoted father of Jerry (Lynn) Byrd, Jr.; loving grandfather of Brandon Byrd and Austin (Ilsa) Byrd; treasured great-grandfather of Athena Byrd and Aurora Byrd.

Jerry was a lifelong banker who found great fulfillment in providing loan services to small businesses and families in the community, a career he was deeply passionate about. Outside of work, he was an avid hunter and fisherman who also enjoyed trap and skeet shooting as well as archery. Jerry loved sharing these hobbies with his grandchildren, involving them as much as possible in the activities he cherished. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
