Jeremy Ryan Janzen, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025, at the age of 50 years, 2 months, and 4 days. Son of Jay and Rachel Janzen; brother of Ricky Janzen; grandson of Alice Schmidt; nephew and cousin. Jeremy is preceded in death by his grandparents Edna and Albert Schmidt, Rosie and Elmer Janzen.
Jeremy’s lifelong passion was model railroading. He found great joy in creating intricate buildings and detailed scenery and was well-known at train shows across the country for his creativity and craftsmanship. Jeremy also had a special love for elephants and a deep devotion to his church, where he faithfully served as the head technician, overseeing all sound and lighting with a servant’s heart.
A certified technician specialist, Jeremy was highly respected in the audio/video industry. Before fulfilling his dream of working in that field, he spent 20 years at Target.
Jeremy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Missouri Baptist University in 1997. He was passionate about the things he cared for and always gave his best to every task. Jeremy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
