Jeffry Oberreither

Jeffry Oberreither, 67, of Florissant, Missouri, loving husband and father, died on March 24, 2026. Born in St. Louis, MO, Jeff was the son of Edward C. Oberreither and Juanita Oberreither (nee Olive). Jeff attended Our Lady of Good Counsel Grade School and Rosary and Riverview High Schools. After graduation, he attended the St. Louis City Police Academy and was briefly assigned to the 4th district. He became a Florissant Police Officer in 1980 until his retirement in 2012 after 32 years.

Jeff is preceded in death by daughter, Amy Jenness Oberreither, wife Persis Jenness Oberreither (nee French), mother Juanita Oberreither (nee Olive), father Edward C. Oberreither, grandparents, aunts, and uncles and sister-in-law. He is survived by siblings Lyn Steger (nee Oberreither) (Dan), Edward Oberreither (Karen), Mark Oberreither (Sue), Paul Oberreither (Susan) and Kurt Oberreither, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jeffry’s name to Backstoppers.
