Jeffrey “Jeff” Eschbacher, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Diann Eschbacher; cherished son of the late Jeanette and Joseph Eschbacher, Jr.; devoted father of Matthew (Pauline) Eschbacher, the late Nicole Marie Caskey, and Melissa Eschbacher; loving grandfather of Kylie Caskey, Cara Caskey, Aubrey Shollar, Carlie Brown, Brayden Bone, and Aiden Eschbacher; dear brother of Joseph Eschbacher, III, Victoria White, and Cheryl Maender.
Jeff was a man who never knew a stranger. With his larger-than-life personality and welcoming spirit, he made friends with and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Jeff was the heart of his family. He and his beloved wife, Diann, shared 44 wonderful years of marriage after growing up as childhood neighbors. They chose each other every day, building a life centered on love, loyalty, and family. Jeff worked hard throughout his life to provide for those he loved and led his family with strength and kindness. Jeff enjoyed working with his hands and was always building, fixing, or tinkering with something. He had a passion for model trains and built an impressive train set in his basement. He loved the outdoors, spending time with friends, and embracing new hobbies. Whenever he discovered a new interest, he pursued it wholeheartedly before moving on to his next adventure. He also cherished his faithful dog, Tucker. Jeff was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
