Jeannette Matilda Knez (nee Schmidt), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Knez; cherished daughter of the late Henry Schmidt and Helen Pacelli; devoted mother of Edward (Sandy) Behnen and the late Richard (Patty) Behnen; loving grandmother of Doug (Kayla) Behnen, Kim (Kale) Cox, Deidra (Dakota) Englemeyer, Carol Powell, Sue Davis and Rebecca Dactur-Gonzolez; treasured great-grandmother of Alyssa, Aviah, and Brady Behnen, Cora and Julia Cox, and Geoffrey and Sam Powell; dear sister of the late Ray (the late Betty) Schmidt

Jeannette loved all types of animals, but more than anything, she loved her family with all of her heart. Jeannette was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Jeannette's name to a charity of the donor's choice.
