Jeanne “Jean” Baumer of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018, at the age of 70. Beloved wife of Eugene "Skip" Baumer; cherished daughter of the late Ferdinand "Fred" and Melba Boeckman; devoted mother of Rene (Kelly) Cope and Stacy (Tim) Eikermann; loving grandmother of Christian (Jessica) Cope, Austin Cope, Tory Nixon, Hannah Eikermann, and Lilly Eikermann; and dear sister of Fred (Yvonne) Boeckman, Kay Kerperien, and the late Retha Callahan.
Jean will be remembered for her strong will and good sense of humor. She was always encouraging and supporting, especially with her family. When she could, she enjoyed travelling, particularly to Florida, and relaxing on the beach. Her hobbies included reading, visiting the casinos, boating, and voyages on cruises. Jean was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made to Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis.
