Jeanette M. Peirick, born on March 11, 1935, passed away on July 23, 2026, leaving behind a legacy defined by kindness, devotion, and a warm spirit that touched all who knew her. Beloved wife of the late Francis H. Peirick; cherished daughter of the late George and Sophia Parmentier; devoted mother of Karla (Bret) Falkner, Francis (Roberta) Peirick, Barb (Paul) Alexander, Greg (Lisa) Peirick, Mitchell Peirick, and Lisa (David, Jr.) Etling; loving grandmother of Katie Peirick, Andrea (Joe) Harris, Melissa Peirick, Jennifer (Jason) Cummins, Drew (Alexis) Huskey, Rachel (Kevin) Wortmann, Kyle (Lara) Etling, Nick Schulte, Jonathon (Natalie) Alexander, Brent Peirick, Natalie (Elliot) Seibel, Blake (Mackenzie) Peirick, Sarah Peirick, Karissa Abrolat, and Ted Peirick, and loving great-grandmother of eighteen great-grandchildren; dear sister of the late Herbert Parmentier, the late Helen Tritz, Marian Wunderlich, Clarence (Carol) Parmentier, the late Vic Parmentier, George (Judy) Parmentier, and the late Doris Beste.

Jeanette’s spirit was characterized by her unwavering generosity, her joyful energy, and her steadfast faith. She was known for her love of singing, especially her heartfelt renditions of “God Bless America,” which brought smiles and comfort to many. An enthusiastic gardener, Jeanette found peace and satisfaction in her yard, nurturing her plants and spending tranquil hours immersed in nature. Her hands were rarely idle; she cherished sewing and filled her days with meaningful activity.

Jeanette was a gentle listener and always offered an uplifting word or thoughtful gesture. Friends, neighbors, and acquaintances remember her for her unwavering kindness and readiness to help anyone in need. Her heart was full of compassion, and her ability to bring comfort and encouragement made her a pillar of strength within her community.

A woman of deep faith, Jeanette’s beliefs were central to her life. She was very involved at Assumption Parish and volunteered her time whenever possible. Her service extended to the Ladies Auxiliary at the Knights of Columbus, where she contributed generously to the organization’s endeavors. As a devoted cook at the O’Fallon Senior Center, Jeanette took great pride in preparing meals, and she further extended her caring nature by delivering meals.

Her sense of adventure was evident in her love of travel. Jeanette visited many different countries, gathering treasured memories and broadening her understanding of the world with each journey.

Though her passing leaves a deep sense of loss, those who knew Jeanette hold fast to the lessons she imparted through her example: the value of giving, the importance of faith, and the profound effect that even the smallest act of kindness can have on others.
