Jeanette E. Brunstein

Jeanette Ethel Brunstein (nee Boschert), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the age of 87. Loving wife of Ralph Brunstein; beloved daughter of the late Clem and Martha Boschert; devoted mother of Gary (Cindy) Brunstein, Cherie Tredway, and Pam (David) Beckman; cherished grandmother of Sarah (Matt) Byrne, Kim (Bryan) Bussen, Tiffany Trudo, Clayton (Samantha) Tredway, Tristan Tredway; great-grandmother to Austin, Landon, Harper, Lilly, Weston, Liam, Grayson, and Luke; treasured great-great-grandmother of Avery; dear sister of Wayne (Janice) Boschert; and is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members. Jeanette is also preceded in death by her sister, Martha Ann “Marty” (Orville) Ohlms.

Jeanette was married for 66 loving years to her beloved husband, Ralph. She was a devoted member of the Saint Anne Sodality at St. Peter Catholic Church and faithfully served her parish in many ways. She also volunteered as a 4-H leader with the Point Prairie 4-H Club. She retired from JCPenney at Mid Rivers Mall after many years of service, beginning as a seamstress and later specializing in altering men's suits. Talented at everything she tried, Jeanette enjoyed working outdoors and especially loved volunteering at the Plant Stand during the St. Peter Parish Picnic. She also was the longtime coordinator for the kitchen at the annual parish rummage sale, where her homemade Sloppy Joes became a favorite.

Jeanette treasured the lifelong friendships she shared through several card clubs, especially with her elementary and high school classmates. She enjoyed quilting, loved her family deeply, and found her greatest happiness in spending time with them. Jeanette was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
