Jean Wencker, of Steelville, MO, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Bert L. Wencker; devoted mother of Sandra (Randy) Fox and Don (Lena) Highland; loving grandmother of Lindsay (Kenny) Sexton and Candice (Jeremy) O’Toole and great-grandmother of Lyllie, Genevieve, Ryan and Waylon. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Viola Minnier and her sister, Marian Hill.
Jean was a member of D.A.R. (Daughter of the American Revolution) for many years. She enjoyed watching Nascar races and sports. She was a fan of volleyball tennis, golf and of course, she loved the St. Louis Cardinals. Jean was a world traveler. She traveled the entire world during her lifetime. Jean was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
