Bechtel, Jean, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Monday, September 13, 2010 at the age of 78. Loving wife of the late Robert B. Bechtel, Sr.; beloved daughter of the late Theodore and Edith Saar; devoted mother of Sally (Michael) Pherigo, Robert (Jennifer) B. Bechtel, Jr. and Thomas (Lola) L. Bechtel, Sr.; cherished grandmother of Michael (Jill) Bechtel, Scott Bechtel, Robbie (Valerie) Bechtel, Leslie (Chris) Bryan, Matthew (Angela) Clipper, Angelia (Brian) Finnerty, Thomas (Laura) Bechtel, Jr. , Kelly Bechtel, and Shannin (Larry) LaRue; dear great-grandmother of Lucas, Isabella, Asher, Brendan, LeAnna, Hannah, Brandon, Ava, Mackenzie, Blakely, Wade, Larry, Payton and Chase; beloved aunt, cousin and friend to many. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Jack Saar, Theodore Saar, Jr., John Saar, Buck Saar, Richard Saar, Bridget Browning and Henrietta McFall. She was a member of the Ladies Elks Auxiliary Lodge #9 in Ladue, Missouri. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
