Janette M. Alves

Alves, Janette M. (nee: Fuszner) of St. Charles, MO, died on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the age of 83. Loving wife of Bruce Alves; beloved daughter of the late Frank and Anna Fuszner; devoted mother of Bruce (Kathy) Alves, Jr., Jocelyn (Alan) Davis, Malcolm (Mary) Alves, and René (William) Allen; cherished grandmother of Bruce III, Amanda, Rachel, Tyler, Cole, Anna, Ryan, Derek, Kevin, and Kimberly; treasured great-grandmother of Alexander and Hunter; and also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her siblings Elaine Noblin, Cora Mae Waterhouse, Leora Noblin, and Frank M. Fuszner.

Janette worked for Orchard Farm R-5 School District as a cafeteria worker for 22 years. She was a member of Pointe Prairie 4H Club, VFW Auxiliary, and the PTA. She was an active member and representative in the Missouri Nutritionist Association. Janette enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, traveling and attending her grandchildren’s activities, but most of all she loved being with her family. Janette will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
