Janet E. Thomlison

Janet Elaine Thomlison (nee Hatridge), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Clyde D. Thomlison; cherished daughter of the late Alva and Mildred Hatridge; devoted mother of Debbie (Dennis) Bonser and the late Mark (Kellie survives) Thomlison; loving grandmother of Josh (Andrea) Hoffman, Jack Thomlison, Chloe Bonser, Jadyn Bonser and Luke Thomlison; dear sister of Joan (Arthur) Jordan and the late Kenneth (the late Nellie) Hatridge.

Janet was married to Clyde for nearly 59 years, June 6^th would have been their 59^th anniversary. She was a RN; she earned her degree at St. Louis City Hospital, and went on to work at St. Joe’s in St. Charles and St. John’s Mercy Hospital. Janet helped start the RN program in the Francis Howell School District, where she worked as a school nurse.

Janet was a great cook, baker, quilter and an avid seamstress. She made too many quilts to count and was a member of the Quilt Society. Janet had a beautiful singing voice and  worked at the Community College where she taught quilting and sewing.

Janet was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
