Janet Sue Pursifull

Janet Sue Pursifull (nee Dryer), of Wentzville, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Steven Pursifull and her first husband, the late Terry Horenkamp; cherished daughter of the late Deldon Jr. and Barbara Dryer; daughter-in-law of Joann Pursifull and the late Joe Pursifull; devoted mother of Matthew (Jenny) Horenkamp, Melissa (Julia) Klebanskaya and Brandon (Brittney) Pursifull; loving grandmother of JD, Hallie, Isaac, Makenzie, Mason and Lucy; dear sister of Pam (Tom) Stephens; sister-in-law of Roger Pursifull, Scott Pursifull and Tammy Lovelace.

Janet was honored as Missouri Teacher of the Year for Early Childhood Development, where she dedicated her career to helping at-risk children. She loved hosting family holidays, spending time at the beach or pool, and going RV camping. Above all, she adored her grandchildren and was deeply active in their lives. Janet was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
