Janet R. Linhardt

Janet R. Linhardt (nee Merkel), of St. Peters, MO, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of Clarence Linhardt; cherished daughter of the late Ralph and Milda Renata Merkel; devoted mother of David (Janet L.) Linhardt, Susan (Ken) Trimble, and Barbara (David) Simon; loving grandmother of Cassie (Kevin) Byrd, Zachary Trimble, Alyssa Linhardt, Kaitlin Trimble, Jacob Linhardt, Elizabeth Simon, Henry Simon, and Chloe Trimble; treasured great-grandmother of Raegan, Elaina, Harper, and Paisley Byrd; dear sister of Ralph Merkel; beloved aunt and friend.

Janet was a devout Lutheran and a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was a hard-working woman and was a dedicated wife and mother. Janet was united as one in Christ to Clarence for 59 wonderful years and loved her family more than anything. Janet was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
