Janet Lee Kelly

Janet Lee Kelly (nee Bell), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Jerry Kelly; cherished daughter of the late Wilbert Lee and Ruth Elizabeth Bell; devoted mother of Jill (Steven) Miles; loving grandmother of Amanda Miles and Brandon Miles; dear sister of Phyllis (Wayne) Wehde; dear sister in law of Bob and the late Norma Padella, dear aunt of Brian (Barb) Wehde, David (Jessica) Wehde, Carrie (Chad) Ward, Cindy Padella, Sarah (Troy) Morehouse, Michael (Cynthia) Padella. Janet also leaves treasured caretaker, Jane Wangondu.

Janet and her beloved husband, Jerry, were married for 64 wonderful years and together founded Jerry Kelly Heating and Air Conditioning in 1977. A hardworking and talented businesswoman, Janet was always willing to mentor and support others. She took great joy in her career and touched many lives.

Known affectionately as “Grandma Jerry Kelly,” she was a devoted mother and grandmother who offered wise advice—often reminding her loved ones to “Make Good Choices.” A beautiful woman inside and out with a great sense of style. Janet loved traveling with her husband and enjoyed listening to jazz and the blues. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Janet and her family bravely faced 21 years with Alzheimer’s. The family was deeply grateful for the many caretakers they lovingly called “God’s Angels.” 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Janet's name to Academy of the Sacred Heart and The Walk to End Alzheimer's.
