Jane Catherine Vollmer

Jane Catherine Vollmer (nee McDermott), of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the age of 86. Cherished daughter of the late Theresa and Joseph McDermott; devoted mother of Joanne (Kathy Ferrara) Vollmer, Theresa (Richard) Kellett, and John P. Vollmer; beloved grandmother of Meghan (Aaron) Piwowarczyk, Molly (David) Schwer, Kayln (Adam) Piwowarczyk, Danny Kellett, Alexandra (Vinny) Ferrara-Urdea, Natalie (Dan) McKelly, Giovanni (Francesca) Ferrara, Kaeli (David) Petitt, and John J. Vollmer; loving great grandmother of Aubree, Nora, Max, Lincoln, Luka, Frank, Rocco, Carmine, John, and Luca; treasured aunt of Dan Lammers; and dear sister of the late Patricia Lammers and the late Kathleen McDermott.

Jane enjoyed playing cards, attending her book club gatherings, and her social time spent with all her friends. She was very loving and devoted to her family, and will be remembered for always saying to them, "Love You More" and "Love You to the Moon and Back.” Jane was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Jane's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
