James Francis Zeisler

St. Charles, Missouri

James F. (Jim) Zeisler, of St. Charles, MO passed away on Thursday June 13, 2024, at the age of 88. He was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn M. Zeisler (nee Heinsz); cherished son of the late Joseph F. and Jeanette L. Zeisler.

Jim is survived by his brothers Gregg J. Zeisler (Jan), Eugene E. Zeisler (Mary), and Thomas A. Zeisler (Barb) as well as several nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of St. Peter High School and Washington University St. Louis. He also proudly served in the United States Marines.

A lifelong resident of St. Charles, Jim was a faithful member of St. Peter Catholic Church where he was involved in the St. Vincent DePaul Society, the church choir as well as the Resurrection (funeral) choir for many years among other activities.

Jim had a dedication for the future of Duchesne High School and provided for the funding of several projects including the facility for the school robotic team, renovation of a classroom and other capital improvements. The Knights of Columbus Council 823 was also a big part of his life.

Following high school, Jim began working at Midwest Model while also earning his college degree by attending night school. Upon graduating from college, his career took him to Service Bureau Corporation, Action Data and Citi Financial all in the computer science programming field.

Memorials may be made to Duchesne High School or masses at St. Peter Catholic Church.
