James "Jim" Vester

James "Jim" Vester, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Marie Vester; cherished son of Hubert Vester and the late Evaline Vester; devoted father of Angie (Steve) Price, Keith (Audrey) Sone, and Rita Rucker; loving grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 7.

For nearly six decades, Jim dedicated himself to serving his community as a barber. Upon retiring, he found joy in leisure activities such as bowling and fishing. His greatest treasures were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his love for music was evident through his lifelong passion for playing the guitar, a skill that has become a cherished memory within his family. Jim also dabbled in drumming. A devout Christian, his faith played a significant role in his life. James' departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, and his enduring love will be sorely missed by all.
