Sivia, Jim, of St. Charles, Missouri, formerly of Dongola, Illinois, died on Friday, April 15, 2011 at the age of 89. Loving husband of Virginia Sivia (nee: Wright); devoted father of James A. (Rose) Sivia, Bill (Charlene) Sivia, Susan (Kenny) Hutchason, and Melody (Jeff) Holmes; cherished grandfather of Joel, Crystal, Heather, Courtney, Alysa, Jeremy, April, Telah, Ariel; and great-grandfather of 14. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends and will be missed deeply. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Nellie Sivia, granddaughter Angela Marie Sivia, and his two sisters and three brothers. Jim was a Carpenter at Hardesty and Johnson for many years before he retired, yet even once he retired, he enjoyed helping people build and work on their homes. He also proudly served in the United States Air Force as a mechanic. Jim was a long time member of Harvester Church of Christ and the Carpenter Local Union #47. He enjoyed working in the yard, and greatly enjoyed camping and going on trips to Branson. Memorials may be made to Harvester Church of Christ, St. Charles, Missouri.
