James R. Elsea

Memorials may be made to the family. Elsea, James R. "Jim" , of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the age of 89. Loving husband of Lillie Ethelyn Elsea (nee: Blodgett), dearest son of the late Charles A. Elsea and Cordelia Rebecca Elsea; loving father of John (Catherine) Elsea, Carl (Terry) Elsea, Darl Elsea and the late James Thomas Elsea; loving grandfather of Ron (Shelly) Anderson, Jennifer (Clark) Woodman, Tina (Brennan) Wildman, and Stephanie (Phillip) Trapp, loving great-grandfather of Haley, Bailey, Dusty, Chasen, Dylan, Camren, Nina, Norah, Joaquin, preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers, beloved uncle and friend. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and working on cars, an avid reader and was always walking. Jim served in WWII in the Army Air Corp as a B-17 Bomber Pilot with the 493rd Bomber Group, and the 862nd Bomber Squadron APO559.
