James Preston Honea

Honea, James Preston, age 75, of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida passed away February 8, 2012. He was born September 13, 1936 in Wardell, Missouri to Frank and Inez Honea. Mr. Honea was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida for the past 16 years before moving from St. Louis, MO. He owned Honea Auto Body Shop and St. Louis Auto Panel in St. Louis, MO. He was a professional Race Car driver for Chrysler. He also loved boating which was a large part of his life. Mr. Honea is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Honea is survived by his long time partner Hettie (Faye) Gross of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. He was also survived by his 3 children Terry Clemons and Betsy Moran of Florissant, Missouri, Pam Honea of St. Peters, MO and Kristie Weber and husband John of St. Charles Missouri. Mr. Honea had 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
