James Paul Govro

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Govro, James Paul, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Friday, September 25, 2009 at the age of 84. Dear husband of the late Mabel Emma Govro (nee Hawks), loving son of the late Samuel Estes Govro and the late Melvina Govro (Weyer), loving father of James T. Govro and Janis L. Lynch; loving step-father of Richard Eaves; dear brother of Robert Govro and Katherine Brown, cherished grandfather of eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchilden. He is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Glenwood Govro, John A. Govro, Harry Lee Govro, Dela Mae Govro and Betty Ann Higgins. He was employed as a Postmaster for the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the Wentzville VFW and the Greensburg, Indiana Lions Club.
