James “Jim” Nevels

Nevels, James "Jim", of St Charles, MO., died on Thursday January 8, 2015, at the age of 95. Loving husband of the late Theresia Nevels (née: Kehoe); beloved son of the late Nathan and Myrtle Nevels; devoted father of Nancy (Dale) Nichols, Duane (Rhonda) Nevels, Sandra (Dan) Howard, and Sharon (Jeffrey) Vaughn; cherished grandfather of Christina (Kyle Anderson) Nichols, Rebecca (Marty) Wells, Joshua (Jill) Vaughn, Chelsea (Tyler Masters) Vaughn, Alicia Howard, and Jonathan James Howard; treasured great-grandfather of Connor and Annalise Wells; dear brother of Paul (Peg) Nevels; dear brother-in-law of Fern Nevels. He is preceded in death by his siblings Margaret Owens, Ralph Thomas Nevels, Robert Nevels, and Pete Nevels. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, skeet shooting, golfing and boating, but most of all he enjoyed being with his family.
