James “Jim” Morrison, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Dawn Morrison; cherished son of Dorothy and the late Clinton H. Morrison; devoted father of Wyatt (Michelle) Morrison, and the late Travis (Tammy Pouge) Morrison; loving grandfather of Cheyenne (Brady) Mitchell, Cody (Alanna Ketchum) Morrison, Cierra Morrison, and Killian Morrison; treasured great grandfather of Lincoln T. Mitchell; dear brother of Dick (Laura) Morrison, Gary (Janet) Morrison, Mark (Tina) Morrison; uncle to a host of nieces and nephews; remembered by other relatives and friends.
Nearly celebrating their 46th anniversary, come May 5th, Jim and his beloved wife, Dawn, shared a passion for outdoor pursuits, relishing camping, fishing, boating, and traveling together. Jim dedicated over 20 years of his life to working as an engineer, his infectious smile and lively presence making him the life of every gathering, often found laughing, dancing, and spreading joy. He cherished moments with loved ones, prioritizing family above all else, and held a deep love for his country. Whether at Mark Twain Lake or engrossed in building and tinkering with projects, Jim's warmth and enthusiasm touched all who knew him, leaving an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who cherished him dearly.
Memorials may be made in Jim's name to Shady Acres Campground or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
