James Sullivan Lynch

James Sullivan Lynch, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the age of 99. Beloved husband of the late Aline Lynch; cherished son of the late James J. and Margaret Lynch; devoted father of Dan (Rose) Lynch, Terry Lynch, Kelly (Bill) McNab, Larry (Sharon) Lynch, John (Mary) Lynch, Tom (Mary) Lynch, and the late Connie Melvin; loving grandfather of 15 and the late Jackie McNab-Whaley; treasured great grandfather of 7; dear brother of the late Rosemary Staskus.

Jim proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy, where he was stationed in Guam. In 1950, he married the love of his life, Aline, and together they shared more than 70 wonderful years of marriage. A devout member of St. Cletus Catholic Church, Jim was a devoted family man who took great pride in being a dedicated, loving father and providing for his family. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed St. Louis baseball and football, played football for CBC, and coached his children in baseball and softball. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
