James Linzmeier, 64, passed unexpectedly on September 26, 2024, at his St. Louis, MO home.
James was born April 7, 1960, in Marshfield, WI to Joseph and Lorraine. Jim treasured his family, especially adventures with his grandchildren like a canoeing trip to the Boundry Waters in Minnesota with his grandsons and a hiking trip to the Colorado Rockies with his granddaughters or the greatest adventure of them all, taking them all out for ice cream. Jim was also an avid deer hunter and enjoyed spending many hours in the woods hunting from his favorite hunting tree. Jim also enjoyed traveling the world with his cherished friend Catherine Griffith.
James was preceeded in death by his parents; his grandson, Loki; and his sister-in-law, Margaret.
James is survived by his children, Terry (Chiho) Linzmeier, Kyle Linzmeier, Julie Degner, Keena (Ashley) Linzmeier, and Solstice (Patrick) Lott; his grandchildren, Ken, Riley, Chloe, Tommy, Nathan, Trentin, Emberlily, and Luna; and his siblings, Joseph (Marti) Linzmeier, Cathleen (John) Lathrop, Stephen (Linda) Linzmeier, Chris Linzmeier, Laura (Tom) Heineck, Brian (Dorothy) Linzmeier, and Lawrence Linzmeier, along with many nieces and nephews.
Jim was cherished and will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
