James “Jim” W. Thomas

Thomas, Sr., Jim, of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at the age of 80. Dearest husband of Judy B. Thomas NEE Byrd; dear son of the late Hugh M. Thomas, Sr. and the late Helen F. Thomas; devoted father of James W. "Jim" (Connie) Thomas, Jr., William "Randy" (Robin) Thomas and Michael M. Thomas; beloved grandfather of Joshua Thomas, Tiffany (Josh) Lowrie and Elise Thomas; great-grandfather of Brooklyn Lowrie and Madelyn Lowrie; Beloved uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Hugh M. Thomas, Jr. and Walter A. Thomas. Jim was an Aeronautical Engineer with McDonnell Douglas for 36 years before his retirement. He enjoyed playing golf, boating and woodworking. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Loving Care Hospice in Wentzville, MO.
