James Stanley Hoefener, Sr., born June 23, 1936, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2024, in his St. Peters, Missouri home surrounded by family.

Beloved husband to Patricia Hoefener, nee Falter and father of six children: Laurie, Terri, Jack, Tricia, James Jr. and Andrew. Jim was also a cherished grandfather to Christina, Jacqueline, Tenille, Jackson, Faith, Jenny, Angelica, Megan, Andrew, Skyler and Anderson.

In 1955, Jim joined the U.S. National Guard and later served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant. During his military service, he was deployed to France from 1961 to 1962, where he proudly served his country. Jim was a fourth-generation master plumber, dedicating over 60 years to his craft, leaving a legacy of dedication, skill and tireless work ethic. 

Jim’s life was marked by his unwavering dedication to God, family and mastery of a trade he loved. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A private service will be held to honor his memory.
