James H. Hawkins, Sr.

James H. Hawkins, Sr. of St. Peters, Missouri, on Friday, November 17, 2017, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Joyce Hawkins; cherished son of the late Harry Hoyet and Clora Novella Hawkins; devoted father of Gregory Brian (Amelita) Hawkins; Leigh Anne (Robert G.) Aston, and the late James Hugh (Jacqueline Jean) Hawkins Jr.; loving grandfather of Kathryn Erin (Charles N.) Baltz, Christine Alice (Craig S.) Scott, Elizabeth Shane Hawkins, Jonathan Miles Hawkins, Frances Angela (Angel) Esteron Hawkins, James Robert Aston, and Jesse Leigh Aston; treasured great-grandfather of Evelyn Baltz, Cade Baltz, and Daniel Scott; dear brother of Helen Dianne (Joe) Meador.

James served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.  He enjoyed taking care of his lawn and being outdoors.  He also enjoyed bowling and was a Boy Scout Leader for many years.  But most of all he loved spending time with his family. James was dearly loved and will be immensely missed by all who knew him.
