James Franklin Corvey, of O Fallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Freida Corvey; cherished son of the late Larkin and Dorothy Corvey; devoted father of Scott (Ana) Corvey and the late Mark Corvey; loving grandfather of Joshua Corvey, Cassandra (Greg) Merrell, Krista Corvey, Gabrielle Corvey; treasured great-grandfather of Amanda, Corvey, Araleigh, and Brentin; dear brother of the late Betty Jean Corvey-VanSickle.
James retired from Fort Zumwalt School District as a bus driver. He volunteered with Civil Air Patrol and Emergency Services in St. Charles County. James loved music, he played the trumpet and was a member of the Swing Kings. He enjoyed traveling with his wife to Las Vegas in particular. James loved his Yorkie, Sammy.
Memorials may be made in James's name to Five Acres Animal Shelter.
