Jim E. Clawson

Jim E. Clawson, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the age of 60. Beloved husband of Donna Clawson; cherished son of the late Charles and Diane Clawson; devoted father of Danielle Taylor and Courtney (Tad) Jilek; loving grandfather of Brandon Ray, Jr., Drake Ray, and Levi Jilek; dear brother of Michael (Jeannine) Austin and Joey Clawson. James is preceded in death by his brother, David Clawson.

Jim had a love for the river and the open road, finding joy in boating and riding his Harley, as well as a passion for fast cars. He deeply loved his grandchildren and was immensely proud of them. Jim cherished the feeling of the wind in his face and was known for his kindness and willingness to help others, earning the nickname “Mr. Fix-it” for his ability to solve problems and lend a hand whenever needed. He was a member of the Teamsters Horsemen Chapter 13 and enjoyed trips to the beach, especially in Florida. Above all, Jim treasured his time with Donna, sharing a special love for dolphins and always wanting her by his side. Jim was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Jim's name to the University of Kentucky Spinal Cord Injury Research Program.
